Nashville Humane Association: Emergency Medical Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant funding allowed us to treat a special medical case who came to Nashville Humane Association from a shelter transport partner. Jovie, a female miniature Australian shepard, came to us with a cleft palate and as a bifid, meaning she presented as having two noses!
Jovie was in need of a special dental surgery to repair the cleft palate and some other birth defects within her mouth and sinus cavities. This Emergency Medical Grant allowed us to provide the surgeries Jovie required.
