How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant enabled us to purchase a diverse range of cat toys to meet the varying needs of our feline fosters. We acquired automatic toys for cats in quarantine or those with contagious diseases who require limited handling, ensuring they remain engaged and enriched. Additionally, cat wands were provided to build trust with more timid cats, and small clip-on toys were added for new intakes, keeping them occupied while they await clearance for foster care.

Queso is a young, orange kitten who was found, all alone, at a busy construction site. He is an exceptionally energetic kitten who benefits from plenty of playtime to help tire him out.

Thanks to the grant, we were able to purchase a variety of new toys that have captivated him. To ease his transition into his forever home, some of his favorite toys will also be included in his adoption bag.
