How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Thanks to this grant, we were able to reduce our adoption fee by 50%, making it more affordable for families to adopt a pet. As a result, we successfully placed 22 cats into loving homes at a reduced rate. This funding was especially impactful as we had recently implemented microchipping, an important safety measure, which had increased our standard adoption fee. The grant allowed us to continue providing this added benefit while still keeping adoptions accessible to our community.

This grant allowed us to offer a discounted adoption fee for Wickle (first photo) and her kitten, Pickle (second photo). Wickle came to us as an owner-surrender due to her pregnancy and her owner’s inability to keep animals in their apartment.

Two weeks after arriving in our care, Wickle gave birth to a healthy kitten, whom we named Pickle. Thanks to this funding, we were able to support their care and help them find a loving home together at a reduced adoption fee.
