Saving Great Animals: Emergency Medical Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
Jazz was surrendered to SGA on Nov. 11. Immediately, her foster family noticed she was lethargic and she began vomiting. She was taken to the ER and diagnosed with cystic mucosal hyperplasia, ulcerative colitis, and gastric hypomotility.
She has been treated and is slowly healing. We believe she will soon make a full recovery and be available for adoption. Her treatment was $2,663.40, including x-rays, medications, blood tests, and IV infusions. The vet has given her clearance and believes she will recover fully.
How many pets did this grant help?
