Vaccinating cats and kittens upon intake

This grant allowed us to begin vaccinating cats upon intake, which inturn made our cats healthier and more adoptable.

In 2012 our cat adoption rate was 5% Since we began vaccinating cats on intake our cat adoption rate has increased to 33%. Many of our cats would become sick with an Upper respiratory infection while being housed at the shelter. Now our cats are healthier thus increasing our adoptions.
