Your generous grant was used to pay for the necessary leg amputation of Mouse, a very sweet gray kitten. Mouse is doing very well and should be available for adoption in the near future. The grant saved Misfits $750, which will be used for emergency medical treatment for another cat or kitten.

Mouse came to us with hind-end paralysis. Her hind legs were not useful for ambulating. Additionally, the left one was stuck in a contracted position and was in the way of her using front legs for movement.
Mouse is healing nicely and is available for adoption on Petfinder.
