How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
Our animals enjoy having beds to lounge on and sleep on at night while they wait on their forever homes. The ability to give the animals a bed instead of just a blanket has been wonderful. While our adoptions are down and Dezzie, who was featured in our update, is still available for adoption, our animals continue to enjoy the beds. This allows them to have a little taste of what a home will be like. Thank you for allowing Southern Souls Animal to give our animals extra comfort during their time at the shelter.

Dezzie (first photo) loves a bed. She prefers it over blankets any day. When it is time for bed and she has one of the P.L.A.Y. beds in her kennel, she gets comfortable faster than when she doesn’t have one.
The kittens in the kitten room never allow the beds to go unattended. There is always a kitten lounging or napping on them.
