This paid for part of Althea's MRI at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Irvine.

This grant helped us with the diagnostics of a dog who never would have been given a chance at all. We rescued Althea from the South L.A. shelter and we knew she had limited use of her back legs but we were unsure why. This money helped us help her.

We rescued Althea from the South L.A. shelter. She had limited use of her back legs and we were not sure why. She could not be a nicer dog. After extensive tests and finally an MRI, it turns out to be a degenerative issue. We fitted her for wheels and she leads a totally normal life.
