Because of this grant, Waffles was able to have surgery for his two broken femurs. Prior to the surgery, he was limping and in pain, but now he is able to run and be a normal cat again, all pain-free. Thank you so much!

Waffles took a scary fall from his cat tree and immediately began limping. X-rays revealed the unthinkable: fractures in both of his femurs. He needed emergency surgery not only to relieve his pain, but to save his legs.
Thanks to a Petfinder Foundation Emergency Medical Grant, Waffles was able to receive the lifesaving surgery he so desperately needed. Today, he’s fully healed, pain-free, and his quality of life has been beautifully restored.
Now all that’s missing is a forever home. Waffles has been through so much and come out the other side stronger, happier, and ready for his happily ever after.
