How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The money was used to support our foster program. We were able to purchase Breeder's Edge Foster Care Feline Milk and Miracle Nipples as supplies for our volunteer kitten fosters.

Our foster program was expanded during this COVID situation and your generous grant was a big part of making that happen. We grew to foster over 90% of our inventory!

How many pets did this grant help?

We had well over 100 pets in foster care from mid-March to June 30th.

Because we had your funds to help pay for kitten milk, we were able to help our dog fosters too! Andrea was fostering a puppy who was very shy, so it was recommended that the puppy meet as many people as possible to learn that people are okay. Andrea took this puppy everywhere she could: shopping at Petco, going to parks, picking up kids from school — if that puppy could go, it did! Not only did she help the puppy overcome its fear, Andrea turned into an ambassador for our facility and eventually helped find the puppy its forever home. She didn’t stop there; she helped coach the new family, making the transition easy and comfortable for both the family and puppy.
