How many pets did this grant help?

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region cared for a total of 23,324 animals in 2015 and obtained a Live Release Rate (LRR) of 82.1%.

The grant supported humane education initiatives, including Camp Whiskers and Wags. In 2015, a total of 380 school-aged children attended Camp Whiskers & Wags. Additionally, a total of 498 humane-education programs were conducted through local schools and youth-oriented organizations, reaching a total of 19,711 individuals with the core mission of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
