How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We were so thrilled when the box of KONGs arrived! We distributed the KONGs to all our dog fosters. The dogs are more calm and enjoy chewing aggressively on their KONG toys. Separation anxiety is reduced. And we can send these toys with the dogs to ensure that their chewing is directed in a positive way.
We are so grateful for this donation. We believe it helps us place more dogs more quickly and it improves their odds of staying in the home. Thank you!

Citlali is a larger dog and very energetic. He loves to run and chase balls. He needed a way to work off his excess energy. Enter KONG toys! Citlali can now focus his energy in a positive way. He really enjoys KONGs that are filled with dry food and a little peanut butter. He’ll work on one for an hour and then fall asleep next to it! We believe a KONG will make the difference for Citlali finding his forever home.
