Mama Kendra, a 10-year-old cat from Houston, arrived at our rescue carrying the weight of a hard life — and a litter of newborn kittens depending on her. In addition to caring for her babies, Mama Kendra was suffering from eosinophilic granuloma complex on the tip of her nose, a painful inflammatory condition that caused visible lesions and significant discomfort.
With the support of the $2,000 grant, we were able to provide Mama Kendra with the veterinary care she needed, including diagnostic testing, medication, and ongoing treatment to manage her condition.
