How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kong products were used to enhance the quality of our dog's lives. A busy dog is a happy dog -- especially dogs who suffer from attention or focus issues.

We have many pets who come in very anxious and have a hard time focusing on a day-to-day basis. Many of our fur kids come from less-than-desirable backgrounds. The Kong product gives them a "job" in order to help their anxiety levels. Many dogs feel more secure in the use of the Kong toys.

4-5 dogs in our test group were helped with the use of this grant.

We have a dog named Tearah who has many social issues and has been available for adoption for almost two years. The Kong product gives us hope for Tearah. We are working hard on her skills.
