We were able to apply the grant money to Snoopy’s eye surgery that he needed due to glaucoma.

This grant allowed us to help pay for Snoopy’s surgery and still be able to cover the daily costs our rescue incurs.

Snoopy (first three photos) was rescued with a long list of health issues. He suffered from glaucoma, which required his right eye to be removed. With so many medical cases we were already providing for, we needed help for Snoopy’s bills. This grant allowed us to be able to pay for Snoopy’s surgery without sacrificing anyone else’s care. With the pandemic, donations were down and everyone was affected in some way. This was a big up to our organization and we are very thankful. Snoopy has since been adopted and is a healthy, happy boy.
