Junie was one of 10 dogs who benefitted from the 2023 Kia Pet Adoption Grant.
Junie is a sweet pit bull who was surrendered to us at 6 months old. It wasn’t too long until we figured out she was deaf.
Junie had been with us 472 days waiting for someone to give her a chance. She spent most of her puppyhood with us. During that time, she stole a lot of hearts and even graduated from obedience school thanks to one of our volunteers working with her!
She is super smart and loving and her disability doesn’t hold her back one bit. She just needed a home to give her a chance to show it, and she finally got it!
She has a new family now with a sibling who is her soulmate — we are told it was like they have known each other all their lives. We are over the moon for our Junie girl!
