How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

I was awarded a $2,500 grant to improve our dog play area. The funds were used to offset some of the cost for turf renovation. I run this rescue with the help of a couple of fosters and my husband. This was so appreciated. The dogs absolutely LOVE the turf, and zoomies have gone up tenfold.

We currently have 12. Annual adoptions vary, but usually are in the 10-20 range.

I rescued Mama Maeve (first three photos) and her three 4-week-old babies from my county’s shelter. They were rescue-only and had been confiscated during an eviction case. The pups have since been adopted. Mama is still waiting. She is having her spay and umbilical-repair surgery next week.
