How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
This grant covered the cost of purchasing 50 doses each of DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, which will continue to keep dogs healthy from many of the preventable diseases that dogs can easily contract.
We also purchased 24 doses of Interceptor and 24 doses of Nexguard. With our dogs protected, flea and tick season will not be so scary this year! We also go out into the community and, if we can, we vaccinate owned dogs and spay any we are allowed to take.

Because we are able to use Nexguard, we don’t have to worry about demodex mange. Bailey had mange as well as a severe flea allergy. The Nexguard cleared up the demodex and kept Bailey flea-free. Her fur grew back in and she is ready for her forever home!
