How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the $45 for products to prevent fleas/ticks and for deworming medication (drontal) for some of our cats.

By killing fleas/ticks and treating intestinal parasites, our cats were healthier. They also showcase themselves better when they aren't scratching for fleas. They clearly feel better when they aren't bothered by parasites.

We used the $45 for products to prevent fleas/ticks and for deworming medication (drontal) for some of our cats, like Baby (a domestic short hair solid gray female 4-year-old adult). Baby has now been adopted, and we are happy the adopter could take home a cat free of parasites. We also treated an older kitten named Jax. He is a red tabby male. Jax has also been adopted and is shown at his new home in the attached photo.
