Every time our staff, volunteers, or potential adopters can reach a pet through a treat or a toy, a connection is being made. Treats are excellent mediums for training and trust-building, and this grant of treats helped facilitate that in our shelter. We also use treats to carry out our pet photo shoots for heartwarming Petfinder profile photos! Every good photo gets our homeless pets one step closer to a home! Thank you!

Pictured is Braddock. From his Petfinder profile: “Brace yourself, this big guy is coming through! My name is Braddock and I’m an American bulldog. The staff at Cedar Bend say I’m a big ham. I’ve got a big ‘ole head that is perfect for pets and scratches! I love those ear rubs! I’m about 3 years old, current on vaccinations, heartworm-tested, and started on flea/tick prevention. Will you adopt me, the big ham?” Meet Braddock: https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/34827461
