This grant was instrumental in helping us pay for the emergency surgery that Isabella, a rescued Chihuahua pup, needed. When the owner surrendered Isabella to EARS, she had been found with a broken front leg. Fixing the leg required adding a plate to secure the bones and almost total bed rest to ensure a successful healing process.
The total medical cost of care for Isabella was over $3,000.
We’re grateful to the Petfinder Foundation for helping us cover those costs. We are excited to share that Isabella is now a happy, healthy pup who is enjoying life. Her emergency surgery was a success and she’s been adopted and loves her new home!
