Wow! This grant was an incredible boost to the cats and kittens in our foster care! Having new toys, beds and even cat trees to share with seven foster families gave them all a much-needed morale boost in what has been a tough spring with a bumper crop of new kittens.

One of our favorite stories is that of Andy. Andy is a special kitten who was born without eyelids. He’ll need special care — basically using artificial tears to help manage the condition. For now, he is doing great and is a healthy and happy little guy who thrives in his foster home. We were grateful to share new toys and bedding with his foster family.
As you can imagine, it’s taking longer than normal to place Andy with just the right family, but we’re hopeful that the we’ll be able to find the best placement for him soon.
