How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The money ($250) was used for spaying Mamma Bonnie and one of her female pups, Snookie. Mamma Bonnie had 10 puppies and all are just about 6-7 months old and ready for their spay/neuter surgeries.

This helped offset the price of two spays for our rescue! We pay about $150-160 for a spay.

Mamma Bonnie came to us 72 hours before giving birth to 10 puppies. Her owner had just been incarcerated and Bonnie needed help ASAP. Our foster who does mamas and babies stepped up right away and the rest is history. Mamma and all 10 pups were adopted and have wonderful homes.
