Lou came from IACC as an ear tipped cat that had lived inside in home without an contact with other people. This was because his owner was elderly. When the owner had to go into a nursing home, the family took Lou to IACC. Tho he was ear tipped, having lived inside a home made it impossible for them to release him to a colony. His aggressive behavior to people he did not know made him unadoptable. Cats Haven took him in as we have worked with cats if his nature before. He was scheduled to be killed the day we took him as a humane transfer. His behavior has improved greatly, he takes great delight in showing how well he uses the cat scratchers in his cage.
