Pals for Paws, Inc.: Orvis Dog Enrichment Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The grant paid for three dogs to obtain much-needed training, and for part of one dog's heartworm treatment. These dogs had waited a long time in bad environments for help, and the grant gave us the extra funding needed to give them a second chance.

It allowed us to give these dogs the additional help needed to make them more adoptable without having to spend our vetting monies.

Maynard (third photo) was pulled from a Mississippi (open-admission) shelter and had dominance issues. He is now adoptable. Meet him here: https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/34216528
