This grant allowed us to purchase 66 doses of Simparica for flea/tick prevention or treatment of demodex mange in dogs and 120 doses of Iverhart for heartworm prevention. We believe that prevention is the best way to keep our dogs happy, healthy, and ready for adoption!

Juneau came into our care in September of 2022 after being placed on the euthanasia list at the city animal shelter due to a positive heartworm status. We were happy to take her into our care and started her on heartworm treatment.
Six months later, she is happy, healthy, and heartworm-free! It’s now time to find her forever home. Juneau is a calm, mellow, gentle dog who loves other dogs, her couch time, and most of all, children!
