No funds received, only Kong toy products.

Kong toys are the best for dogs in our care. By filling them with tasty treats inside and freezing them, we give the dogs an enrichment activity of something to do and to help clean their teeth.

How many pets did this grant help?

All our canine friends at the shelter, as we received a dozen pieces to share at different times. The most at one time is 12.

Meeka is a high-energy 8-month-old puppy who needs a lot of enrichment via toys, one-on-one training and group play. Kong toys have helped calm her by causing her to work for her treats and helping to clean her teeth. This toy is the only toy that worked for her.
