How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The funds were used to purchase additional food, litter, supplies, and cleaning products for our adoption center so that we can continue to perform adoptions while keeping our staff, adopters, and pets safe.

It helped us to continue to be able to perform adoptions and care for the pets in our shelter while keeping everyone safe.

I think the best story is Rocco. He was long-term with us and has mobility issues. People would call about him, but no one could care for him and work on his issues until Covid. The right adopters came forward because they wanted to help an animal with special needs because they’d had one previously. They took him home and now he has a great life!
