Moscato came to our shelter in early November 2014. He had lived in one home for all of his 11 years, but when his owner had to unexpectedly move in with her allergic son, he was surrendered to our shelter. After being in our care, he was adopted in late January 2015. Understandably, Moscato was extremely fearful both at the shelter and in his new home. After about one week, his new owners returned him to our care because of his extreme fear. Our behavior volunteers immediately began to work with him to make him less fearful and more calm during his stay with us. At the end of March, Moscato finally found his forever home, where he has been loved for the past five months. Your generous grant helped us to care for Moscato until he could find his perfect forever family.
