We are so appreciative of the $500 Emergency Medical Grant we were awarded to help sweet Fence, who was rescued after being trapped in a wire fence on Sept. 26, 2022. The fence had to be cut in multiple locations to free her, and she was motionless and hypothermic.

She was rushed to an emergency veterinary clinic, where she was hospitalized for several days while being treated for shock, hypothermia, hypoglycemia, and soft-tissue injuries she sustained while trapped.

She’s made remarkable progress, though she is still a bit of a nervous girl with new people. She loves other cats and enjoys cat trees, warm beds, a ready supply of available food, and kitty treats!

She has recovered fully and been completely vetted, and she’s ready to find that purrect forever home!

You can adopt Fence here.
