Happy Hearts Feline Rescue: COVID-19 Operation Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The grant was used to help pay for Lily's dental care and treatment of stomatitis. The total cost of Lily's dental and mouth care exceeded the amount of the grant by a couple of hundred dollars. However, we were able to raise the remainder of the money from generous donors. Without the help of the Petfinder Foundation, we would have not been able to help Lily as quickly as we did.

Lily had severe dental disease and stomatitis. It was very costly to treat. Happy Hearts would not adopt this kitty out until she received the proper treatment of her mouth.

Lily is a gentle and loving kitty. Once the veterinarian gave her a clean bill of health, she was quickly adopted into a loving home. They are so happy to have such a wonderful kitty as Lily and we are thrilled that the Petfinder Foundation made this happen with its COVID Operation Grant!
