How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant was utilized for our longest-term homeless pets here at the shelter. It sponsored five animals so they could go home without the adopter paying the adoption fee. This covered the cost of care for two long-term dogs and three long-term cats.

I am happy to report that all five animals sponsored with this grant have been adopted. Our most heartwarming story is about Deja (first photo), who was in the shelter for 395 days and is in an AMAZING home now (second photo).

She was here through no fault of her own, and watching her struggle in a shelter setting was so sad. Seeing her in an actual home and loved made the team so happy.
