Three special cats were adopted out with the assistance of the Kia Pet Adoption Grant as part of our Home for the Holidays special.

Tux (first photo) was transferred into our rescue when he was found living in a feral colony as part of a TNR effort last spring. Partly blind and positive for FIV, he was adopted on Dec. 3.

Pine (second photo) is an 11-month-old kitten whom we rescued along with 16 other cats from a homeless camp that had been emptied and was about to be bulldozed. He found his new home on Dec. 2.

Finally, Hulk (third photo) is a 3-year-old cat who entered our rescue in June 2021 testing positive for feline leukemia. (We are unique in having a community cat room solely dedicated to FeLV+ kitties.) He was adopted into a loving home on Nov. 25.

All three cats came from difficult circumstances but are now living the good life!
