How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant helped us to replace worn-out items and purchase cat trees and houses to furnish an additional catio. This catio extended room for the main Cat House so that we were able to rescue four more cats from the local municipal shelter. Two of those cats, Selena and Lady Bug, have recently been adopted.

This grant enabled us to make room for four more cats: Selena, Lady Bug, Nada, and Layla, from the local municipal shelter and to re-arrange cats from another foster home that needed to move for various reasons such as behavior and risk of pregnancy until spayed.

Two of the cats from the local shelter, Selena and Lady Bug, have recently been adopted. Barney, because of another cat’s behavior, was moved to the main Cat House and is now settling in nicely. Carol Channing is waiting to be spayed on June 22, and is also safe with the other cats in the main Cat House with the new catio.
