Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
Cheeky, a 6-week-old female American bully puppy, arrived at the Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc., shelter after being pick up as a stray.
When was evaluated by our contracted veterinarian, it was determined that little Cheeky was suffering from front-leg deformities caused by improper feeding before arriving at HHAF. Her prognosis was good and a good-quality nutritious food supply was recommended.
The grant funding from the Wag Wine Operation Grant was central in providing this puppy with the food that she needed to recover from her nutritional deficits. Cheeky was adopted by her foster family and she is continuing to thrive in her new permanent home.
