Rocket is a young hound mix with the sweetest temperament, even though he was found neglected, extremely thin, and heartworm-positive in a high-[intake] shelter in the south. With help from our supporters and the Petfinder Foundation grant, we were able to bring him to New Jersey and get him the treatment he needed. He is still going through treatment, but he is currently living his best life with his new family that adores him.
