This grant is helping Biscuit, the sweetest boy. He came to us uncared-for, with a skin condition and having had no vaccines. When he came to us, he was taken to the vet. At that time, he was treated for skin infection and received a round of vaccines. From there he went to get his mats cut off. That’s when we noted the growth on his eye. He went back to the vet to get checked and get his heartworm test. The growth will have to be removed. Then we found out he was heartworm-positive. From day one of coming to us, he was full of energy and love. He doesn’t understand how bad of shape he is in. He wants to play ball and lie in the sun and play.
