This grant helped us take care of some of Boomer's medical needs. We were able to pay for a comprehensive wellness exam, Lyme/heartworm testing, and urine analysis. We were also able to provide him with joint supplements.

Boomer spent 10 years on a chain in a backyard. After taking him into our rescue, we brought him into a foster home, not knowing what to expect.

To our surprise and absolute delight, Boomer learned quickly how to be a house dog. He met other dog friends and did well.

When we brought him to the vet, we were told that he had Lyme disease and some joint issues. The grant funding helped us go the extra mile for Boomer, treat his Lyme disease and provide months of joint medication.

Ultimately, this led to his successful adoption. Now, he has a fur sibling to share the couch with!
