How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The FVRCP vaccinations were used to vaccinate kittens in Little Shelter's care.

In regards to the New Felo Vax vaccine we received from the Petfinder Foundation, we can not say enough positive info about this vax. At Little Shelter, we use quite a large amount of vaccines as we vaccinate between 300 and 400 felines a year, and roughly more than half of those are kittens who need at least three FVRCP's. With that number of vaccinations, we do see some vaccine reactions, including fever and lethargy, but with the Felo Vax we saw none of that. This is a wonderful vaccine and it would be great if we could procure more of it. What a great product!

Iron and Steel were both found on a cold rainy night on the side of the round with no momma cat around. They both needed some TLC and went right into foster care until they were ready for adoption — and here they are, ready for a home to call their own. Both are very playful and active and would do best in a home with another kitty — or, even better, together.
