How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The castles were given to every person that adopted a kitten at the PETCO weekend adoption event. We also showed them how to set up the castle when they got home with the kitten they just adopted.

The grant helped Brookhaven Animal Rescue by saving us the cost of purchasing more carriers to give away to a person adopting. We set up a castle in each area of our location: One in the kitten room and one in each adult area for the big cats to use. Every day we would find someone new in the castle -- guess you say they like the castle to hide in.
