Euclid Beach Cat Project: COVID-19 Operation Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used the money granted us for spay/neuters.

The money helped us fix a family of five kittens. This helped us stop the cat population where they were found from rising and creating a bigger issue for the truly feral cats who have to live out their lives there. We were able to bring them in, give them vet care and find them loving indoor homes.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

We were able to find two brothers the care they needed. They were vetted and cared for within our organization and then they found a home together. Their adopter tells us: “I wanted to give an update on the two brothers we adopted in June. They have brought me and my husband such joy and love and they are spoiled but are worth it. We are blessed to have them in our lives and family. The kitten formerly named Bourbon’s new name is Cuddles and his brother, formerly named Gumbo, has the new name Spunky.”
