Crazy Cats Animal Rescue: Cat Enrichment Grant Report
How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
As a foster-based cat rescue, exposing our cats and kittens to potential adopters at PetSmart and Petco is a lifeline for Crazy Cats and our animals. However, being in a smaller confinement area at a store can be stressful for the cats.
This is why we are so thankful to you, Petfinder Foundation, for the funds to purchase new comfy places for the cats to perch as well as enrichment such as toys and scratchers, all of which make their stay stay in retail as comfortable as possible.
The new enrichment will help all our cats in 2023 and beyond, and potential adopters will see how much we love and care for our cats.

Aubrey is one of the sweetest torti cats on the planet. She is gentle, cuddly, and affectionate. A little belly rub and Aubrey goes to kitty nirvana with an infectious rumbly purr. She likes ALL people and cats. Because she is so purrfect, we feel that Aubrey’s adoption is right around the corner.
In the meantime, she will be more comfortable and relaxed when she is offered for adoption at one of our retail partners because of the new enrichment funded by the Petfinder Foundation. Aubrey and all the cats at Crazy Cats are so grateful.
