How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We received a donation of P.L.A.Y. beds.

We use the designer Chill Pads in the office to welcome animals who are stressed and are having difficulty adjusting to the shelter. We also use them for animals recovering from surgery. The beds are the perfect size, as they fit in the kennels and the washing machine.

The picture is of Joe. He was surrendered at the shelter and was having extreme separation anxiety. We set up a Chill Pad and kept him in the office for a couple of days to help transition him to the shelter. He was adopted shortly after we featured him on Facebook and Instagram.
