How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
The Cat Enrichment Grant has provided endless hours of happiness to the cats at Stray Kitty Rescue. This grant has helped the cats and kittens wait in style for their forever homes. We now have cat trees that they climb, tunnels that they hide in, toy mice and birds that they hunt, and comfy beds that they lie in. The cats and kittens in our care love to lounge on floating shelves funded by this grant and eat cat grass to remind them of being outside while they are in a safe place. Thank you, Petfinder Foundation, for helping Stray Kitty Rescue make a difference in the lives of these cats and the community we serve.

Some of cats wait up to nine months to be adopted. While they wait, they now have the time of their lives at Stray Kitty Rescue.
In the photos you’ll see Sparkle (first photo). She was surrendered by her owner seven months ago and is still with us. She loves the new toys and she is coming out of her shell more and more. She was once neglected, but now she is filled with love and the toys, trees, and comfy bed make her feel at home.
