Outcast Rescue: Kia Pet Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The KIA grant was used to reduce or cover fees for five of our adoptable dogs! The entire adoption fees of two senior and one special-needs dogs were covered. This allowed for their new families to use the funds otherwise spent on a fee to get any needed supplies, toys, or treats.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Meadow (first photo) was found as a stray in Philadelphia. She is a senior small-breed girl who is over 12 years old. She had such severe dental disease that she had to lose all her teeth. We also removed a mammary mass. Even though she cannot run marathons, she is certainly enjoying her newfound life being loved. Her fosters-turned-adopters just couldn’t let her go.
