Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.
WAG rescued a mama husky who gave birth to seven puppies. WAG named her Snow and kept with the theme for her puppies. Four of her puppies were adopted very quickly; Flurry, Chilly, and Polar Bear were fostered until their forever homes presented.
The grant helped these puppies and Snow by providing the toys and blankets they took with them to their foster families. They had them while they were together in the WAG nursery and they provided familiarity and comfort when they left to stay with their foster families.
All the puppies and Snow have since been adopted and are being cared for and loved in their forever homes.
