How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant is allowing us to waive adoption fees on our longest-stay rescues and reduce the adoption fees for newer fosters to help them find forever homes faster. We have several who have been with us far too long and we are hoping that waiving their adoption fees will be what makes the difference in finding their forever homes -- which in turn will make room to rescue more.

Trisha (first photo) was adopted right away when we offered to waive her adoption fee. She had been with us for almost a year and a half and was a severe abuse case, but she is now with her forever family touring the U.S. this summer in an RV and going to see as many national parks as possible: an amazing outcome for sweet Trisha.

We are hopeful that waiving the adoption fees for all our long-term rescues will produce equally amazing outcomes. Thank you!
