How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We received our $1,000 grant in November 2022. From Dec. 13-17, we ran a Home for the Holidays $50 adoption special. We were able to get 12 animals adopted during our event!

By running our event, our adoption revenue was decreased by $990, but this was in turn covered by our grant. This grant helped saved the lives of 12 lucky animals who definitely got the home they deserved and wanted for the holidays.

One successful adoption story from the adoption event was our pup Rocco. Rocco was in the shelter for 133 days. He was a wonderful, big goofball with loads of energy and was friends with everyone!

Rocco patiently waited and waited for his forever home, but he just could not find the right fit. Then we ran the Home for the Holidays Adoption Special with the help of our grant. Rocco, after 133 days in the shelter, FINALLY was adopted and found his home for the holidays!
