How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The $1,000 was used to support reduced adoption fees for cats and kittens. The normal adoption fee is $85. We promoted via Facebook a $25 adoption special, supported by the Petfinder Foundation. The adoption special ran from June 5-21. This fee also included spay/neuter vouchers.

We adopted out 25 cats and kittens during this time. The grant greatly assisted in reducing the number of cats and kittens in our care at the shelter.

Dee was a sweet 18-week-old kitten who was adopted during our cat/kitten special rates that went to help with finding homes for our babies at the shelter. This baby was one of many who found their forever homes during this special. This helped save many lives and gave everyone a new best friend in the process.
