How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kong toys are used by KGARL foster dogs for play and enrichment. We often put dog cookies in a Kong to keep foster dogs busy in their crates.

Kong toys are used by our foster dogs every day to keep them entertained and quiet when they need to be crated. We often stuff the toys with treats and other yummy items so they have to work a bit to get to the food.

Emma came to us as a severely underweight puppy. She was the runt of her litter and we weren’t sure if she would make it or not. Through love, TLC, a good diet and vet care, Emma has grown into a beautiful little girl and she is ready to be adopted. While Emma waits for her forever home, she enjoys playing with the Kongs in her foster home. Meet Emma here.
